Technology In the Work Place. ..


                        Do you ever find yourself thinking what it was like to go to work, without all the technology involved in todays work field.  In todays work field, so many people are dependent on a computer to tell them an answer (doing the job for us), dose this make it easier on everyone?   I went through a fast food restaurant today, the cash registers/system was done, and this caused the whole place to basically shut down.  The manager couldn't even help her crew count back change, because they're so used to it being done for them.   Granted, they were doing there best, and very polite. But, I found myself thinking, how did we function before?    At the same time,  there are so many benefits using email, cell phones, being able to work from home, and etc...   Email has an huge impact with businesses, it's such an easier way to be able to communicate with employees or customers with in a few min. Especially now being able to do it on your cell phone, from your car.  Also, this isn't the work place, but its such a benefit being able to sit at home, while doing online classes.    It just amazes me how far we've come with technology, and it's far from over.  I wonder how it'll be in 20years from now.  So, what's your opinion on technology in the work place? Have we let it get to involved? Became dependent on it, and slacked on actually training?
